Family Fun Day Tour

A great tour for kids, parents and even grandma! The tour begins at the new Tom Ridge Environment Center. Completed in 2007, the TREC teaches visitors about the plants and animals that inhabit Presque Isle State Park through interactive exhibits, a glass-enclosed observation tower and an Omnimax theater. We make our way across the street to experience Waldameer Park's newest roller coaster - the Ravine Flyer II. The 3,000 foot wooden track allows the rider to travel more than 60 miles per hour and cross four lanes of traffic on a 165 foot arched bridge. What a thrill! Our final destination is Family First Sports Park. This 80-acre playground has something for everyone - miniature golf, video arcade, go-kart racing, bumper boats, rock climbing, indoor inflatables, batting cages and Eurobungy.
